Job Description

As a Recruitment & Marketing Administration Assistant, you will assist and shadow experienced recruitment and marketing professionals, gaining first-hand insight into office operations, recruitment processes, and digital marketing support activities.

This placement provides an opportunity to develop core administrative, communication, and systems skills, forming a strong foundation for a future career in recruitment, administration, or marketing support.

The participant will work closely with both the recruitment and marketing teams, supporting day-to-day operational activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual

  • Support client and candidate enquiries, ensuring professional and positive interactions

  • Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, updating records, and maintaining internal systems

  • Support recruitment advertising activities, including posting roles on company job boards and LinkedIn

  • Assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with data protection requirements

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times

  • Support general office administration and operational tasks as required

  • Assist with Excel spreadsheets and basic reporting tasks

  • Support digital communication activities across recruitment and marketing functions

Systems & Technology Exposure

The participant will be trained in and gain hands-on experience using the following platforms:

  • SalesQL software platform

  • Glasshive CRM

  • Manatal ATS

  • LinkedIn

  • ConnectWise CRM

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Role Description

This is a training and work experience opportunity. No prior experience is required, as full supervision and mentoring will be provided throughout the placement.

Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module, developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module fulfils the accredited training requirements of the WPEP programme.
